Jerard & Alecia are by far one of the most amazing looking couples we have ever captured. They look like they belong in a magazine! We had a blast venturing around Inniwood Metro Gardens capturing the love. Their love story is certainly one of a kind. Check it out:
“Alecia and I met in college in Colorado Springs. We were ironically both from Oklahoma City and having never met until 600 miles later. We were both college basketball athletes and following the season I asked her on a date to my sponsor parents home just to get away from campus and get a better feel for her. After I told her of my interest, she told me she was still in the middle of something. I then washed my hands from pursuing her. Over the course of that summer I would text and keep in touch. That following school year she contacted me via Skype, distraught and confused, as she had just broke off her relationship with a previous boyfriend. She inquired of a males perspective of certain issues, seemingly trying to open that door for another opportunity with me. From then, we started spending more and more time together getting to know one another. Christmas of 2005, we officially starting dating.
In the fall of 2007, I contacted her friends at school and arranged for a dinner in which I was going to propose. That very day we were set to eat dinner, Alecia had an attitude about something and the mood was tense until we met with her friends. However in front of a number of strangers at P.F Changs, sweating and stumbling over my prepared speech, I got down on one knee and proposed. Of course, she cried and said yes.”
